I have already installed realtek HD audio driver in my envy 15 k 220 nr but issue is that beats audio is not fully functioned. Its quality is totally changed as it was before when originally window 8 was installed. Download the latest drivers for your HP Compaq dc5100 SFF(EA102UC) to keep your Computer up-to-date. Realtek: Supported OS. Audio Drivers. HP Pavilion p7-1054 desktop with the motherboard N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix). According to the spec, Integrated ALC888S-VD audio is installed. Recently, I installed Windows 10 64bit but I have a problem as follows: 1. When Widnows 10 installed, audio icon was with red X meaning no speaker plugged in. Even though I tried to connect a speaker physically, red X still on the audio/speaker icon. I downloaded and installed the latest audio driver from realtek from Definition Audio Codecs The audio icon with red X went away but realtek audio manager keeps showing toggling messages like speaker is not plugged in and attached. The speaker connected was never working. I downloaded the latest driver from Windows catalog and installed it manually. But the speaker still doesn't work. How to solve this issue? Hello; Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums! I see you're running Win10 but your PC came preinstalled with Win8 or Win7 -- so, unfortunately, HP does not provide Win10 drivers for your PC. However, Win8 drivers often do work -- so I would go to this page, download the Win8 driver and see if it works: I know you're running Win10, but I prefer to still use Control Panel for stuff -- because it's easier to find things. So, enter Control Panel in the search area, open it, and in there you should see an entry for Realtek HD Audio. IF you do not, that means the Realtek app never got installed. If the app IS there, then open it and mess around with the speaker settings to see if anything works. I ran into a similar problem where I accidentally set my speakers in the HD audio app to 7.1 and thus, I got very weak sound out of my two speakers. When I then reset the app to stereo sound, it was a lot better. You're very welcome. Did you see this You Tube Video? There are folks on this forum that claim this fixed their issues. I quote from one person. Thank you very much!! This essentially solved the issue for me. The process however wasn't entirely as straightforward for me, but that was because after deinstalling the Realtek drivers / reboot / extracting the instaler, there was no folder with the Realtek drivers for me. I solved that problem by getting the drivers from the zip version of the driver and follow basically the same steps and manually made Windows look in the correct folder (Vista64). Then i chose the HDX.inf file and it came up with the list of Realtek drivers and just choose the last option with signed drivers. So, for those who try this method, you might run into similar issues, but the HDX.inf file seems to install the Realtek driver / Control panel without beats. I did some research into the installation process before and found that the Driver installer apperently picks different inf files for installing the drivers and beats audio depending on your machine's specifications; I'm personally not knowledgeble enough to find out how it exactly worked, so i didn't advise it to anyone. Anyway, once again: Thanks for this info and credit where it belongs. 'My solution' was also based on someone elses work, but i won't mention that person since i have no idea if that person has an issue with that and i also forgot because i really wanted this issue fixed and lost focus of the work of others. Look it up on Youtube if you want to know. Thanks to all who worked on this issue.
